How it works under your plan

High Intensity Support & your NDIS funding.

High intensity supports are funded from your Core Supports budget under High Intensity Daily Personal Activities, reflecting the additional skill and training these tasks require. Because it sits in Core, it can be combined flexibly with your other daily supports as your health needs change. We work with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed plans, and we do not guarantee funding outcomes.

$75.98/ hour weekday

What makes a support 'high intensity'? +
These are complex, health-related supports such as complex bowel care, enteral feeding, tracheostomy care or seizure management that need extra training under the NDIS Practice Standards High Intensity module.
Are your high intensity workers specially trained? +
Yes. Workers delivering high intensity supports hold the additional competencies required for the specific care you need, on top of NDIS Worker Screening.
Do you follow my clinical care plan? +
Support is delivered in line with your individual care plan and clinical guidance, within the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality and Safeguards framework.
Can high intensity and personal care be combined? +
Many participants receive complex supports alongside everyday personal care, coordinated so the same trusted workers can assist where appropriate.
How do you keep complex care safe? +
We match suitably trained workers, follow your care plan and clinical direction, and operate under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards framework.
