How it works under your plan
Community Access & your NDIS funding.
Community participation is funded from your Core Supports budget under Social and Community Participation, giving you flexibility to spend it on the activities that matter to you. Because it sits in Core, you can shape it around your goals and interests over time. We support participants whose plans are self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed, and we do not guarantee funding outcomes.
The 2025-26 price cap
$70.23/ hour weekday
We charge at or under the cap and show it on every invoice. See the price guide.
What kinds of activities can a worker support me with? +
Anything from a coffee catch-up or gym session to a class, club or local event. The activity is led by your interests and goals.
Can a worker help me travel to activities? +
Yes. Workers can support you to get to and from where you want to go, helping you build confidence with travel along the way.
Can community access help me make friends? +
Many participants use this support to practise social skills and meet people through shared-interest groups, classes and regular outings.
Do I have to go out, or can support be near home? +
It is up to you. Support can be in your local neighbourhood or further afield, depending on what you want to do and where you feel comfortable.
Can I bring a friend or go in a group? +
Group and one-to-one options are both possible. We will organise the format that suits how you like to take part.
