How it works under your plan
Help Around the Home & your NDIS funding.
Domestic assistance is funded from your Core Supports budget under Household Tasks, and is generally available where your disability prevents you from doing the task and no other household member can reasonably do it. Because it sits in Core, you can use it flexibly alongside your other daily supports. We work with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed plans, and we do not guarantee funding outcomes.

Common tasks include cleaning, laundry, dishes, changing linen, light meal preparation and basic yard tidying to keep your home manageable.
Who is eligible for domestic assistance? +
It is generally funded where your disability prevents you from doing the task and no other member of your household can reasonably do it for you.
Can the same worker come regularly? +
Yes. We try to send a consistent worker who learns how you like things done, and you can change worker if needed.
Will a worker prepare meals? +
Workers can help with light meal preparation as part of household tasks, supporting you to have simple everyday meals ready.
Is gardening included? +
Basic yard upkeep to keep your outdoor spaces manageable can be supported. Larger landscaping work usually falls outside this support.
