How it works under your plan

Medication Support & your NDIS funding.

Medication assistance is generally drawn from your Core Supports budget under Daily Personal Activities. This funding is flexible, so you can shape how and when support is delivered around your routine. We work with self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants, and we do not guarantee funding outcomes.

Questions

Medication Support FAQs.

Can a support worker give me my medication? +
Yes, a trained worker can administer medication within their scope and your care plan. They follow written instructions and do not change doses themselves.
Do your workers prescribe or adjust medication? +
No. Prescribing and dosage decisions belong to your doctor or pharmacist. Workers only assist with medication you have already been prescribed.
What about complex or high-intensity medication needs? +
These require additional worker competency under the NDIS Practice Standards. We arrange suitably trained workers and supervision where higher-intensity support is involved.
Can you help with a Webster-pak or dose aid? +
Yes. Workers can help you use packed dose-administration aids and check the right pack for the day and time.
What if my medication routine changes? +
Let us know and we update your support notes with your prescriber's new instructions so the right help continues.
Registered & compliant. TQN.Care is a registered NDIS provider delivering supports under the NDIS Quality & Safeguards framework. All workers hold NDIS Worker Screening clearance. We do not guarantee NDIS funding outcomes — supports depend on your plan.
