Enter when the support was booked for and when it was cancelled. The calculator checks the notice period, works out what can be claimed and shows how to claim it.
For disability support worker supports, less than 7 days' notice. For other supports such as therapy, less than 2 clear business days' notice. A no-show also counts.
Up to 100% of the agreed fee for the support, within the price limit and the terms of the service agreement, if the provider could not find other billable work for the worker and has to pay the worker for the time. Providers can choose to waive the fee.
With the same support item that would have been used, choosing the Cancellation option in the myplace portal. Therapy items have their own cancellation codes, such as 15_054_0128_1_3_CA.
Rules from the NDIS Pricing Arrangements 2025-26: disability support worker supports typically use the 7-day rule and other supports, including therapy, the 2 clear business days rule. Clear business days are full weekdays between the day of cancellation and the day of the support, excluding NSW or VIC public holidays. A no-show counts as a short notice cancellation. A provider can claim up to 100% of the agreed fee, within the price limit and the terms of the service agreement, if it could not find other billable work for the worker and has to pay the worker for that time. Supports delivered as part of a program of support are not subject to the short notice cancellation rules.
