ScheduleNursing and other labour supports
  1. The support is disability-related nursing care that is not the usual responsibility of the health system, and the nurse would be classified as an Enrolled Nurse under the Nurses Award 2020 (works under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered nurse).
  2. The nursing support is a Sunday support: it starts at or after midnight on the night before a Sunday and ends at or before midnight that Sunday, and it is not a public holiday or a night-time sleepover. These are the nursing time bands, which differ from the disability support worker bands.
  3. The health support directly relates to the participant’s significant and permanent functional impairment and helps with activities of daily living, for example dysphagia, respiratory, nutrition, diabetes, continence, wound and pressure care, podiatry or epilepsy support.

The price limit applies to NDIA-managed and plan-managed participants; self-managing participants are not bound by price limits. Providers cannot agree a price above the limit, and claim part hours by time spent.
