NDIS quotable supports 2026-27

Last updated 24 October 2026 · NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27 · By Sarah M., Support Coordinator
In short
  • There are 37 NDIS quotable supports in Schedule 10 of the NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026-27: labour-based supports, high cost consumables, high cost assistive technology and higher cost or complex home modifications.
  • Quotable supports have no fixed price limit. The provider gives the NDIA a quote, and can only claim the item if it is a stated item in the participant’s plan.
  • 3 of them have their own tqn.care code page: live-in carer, specialised transport and on-call overnight monitoring.

How quotable supports work

  • A quotable support can only be claimed if the provider gave the NDIA a quote and the item is a stated item in the participant’s plan. When the NDIA approves the quote, it creates a service booking for the item, which the provider claims against.
  • Otherwise quotable supports follow the same conditions as other supports in the Pricing Arrangements.
  • Prepayments (deposits or milestone payments) can be claimed for assistive technology (including vehicle modifications) and home modifications when the support item value exceeds $1,500 or it is custom made, a valid quote was accepted, and the service agreement sets out the payments. The final payment, of not less than 10% of the total cost, cannot be claimed until the participant has the support ready to use. Other supports need the NDIA’s prior written approval for prepayments.
  • If a participant wants a customisation that is not reasonable and necessary, such as an aesthetic one, they pay for it themselves.
  • Specialised transport (02_050_0108_1_1) is quotable; general transport (02_051_0108_1_1) is listed without a specified price.

FAQs

What is a quotable support in the NDIS?

A support with no fixed price limit. The provider sends the NDIA a quote, the item must be stated in the participant’s plan, and once the quote is approved the NDIA creates a service booking the provider claims against.

How many quotable supports are in the 2026-27 schedule?

37 support items in Schedule 10, in 4 tables: labour-based supports, high cost consumables, high cost assistive technology and higher cost or complex home modifications.

Can a provider ask for a deposit on a quotable item?

Yes, for assistive technology or home modifications worth more than $1,500 or custom made, with an accepted quote and a service agreement that sets out the payments. At least 10% of the total cost must be held back until the support is delivered ready to use. Other supports need the NDIA’s prior written approval.
