Questions

What is the NDIS sleepover rate for 2026-27?

$311.79 per night at the national rate, $436.51 remote and $467.69 very remote (01_010_0107_1_1). It includes up to two hours of active support; a third or later hour can be claimed at the Saturday price on weekdays, or at the price for that day on weekends and public holidays.

What times are the NDIS time bands?

Weekday daytime is 6am to 8pm, weekday evening is 8pm to midnight, and weekday night covers supports that run past midnight or start before 6am. Saturday, Sunday and public holiday supports are priced for the whole day.

What does 24/7 personal care cost at NDIS price limits?

It depends on the dates, state and pattern. For example, 24/7 active personal care at national prices from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 in NSW is costed day by day in this calculator; change the pattern to see the difference a nightly sleepover makes.

Sources and how this works

Each day is costed by its NDIS time band: weekday daytime 6am–8pm, weekday evening 8pm–midnight, weekday night midnight–6am, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays (all of that day’s hours at the public holiday price). The 24/7 pattern assumes separate shifts of 6am–8pm, 8pm–midnight and midnight–6am on weekdays; where one worker’s shift crosses a band boundary, the higher price applies to the whole shift. The sleepover pattern costs 16 hours of active support each day and one sleepover each night. A sleepover covers up to 2 hours of active support; a third or later hour can be claimed at the Saturday price on weekdays, or the price for that day on weekends and public holidays. Public holidays are the gazetted NSW and VIC holidays. For a shared support, the price limit for each participant is the price limit divided by the number of people in the group. Nursing supports use different time bands and are not included.
