Where live-in care is needed because of your disability and is part of daily life, it is usually funded from your Core Supports budget using high intensity daily personal activity items, delivered by workers with the extra training these supports need. Nursing time to assess, write care plans and train workers can be funded from Core or from Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living).
Live-in care is built from standard support items (day shifts, sleepovers and active nights) rather than one live-in rate. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants, and we do not guarantee funding outcomes.
Saturday, Sunday and public holiday rates are higher. We charge at or under the limit. See the price guide.
