What Is the myplace Participant Portal?

Last reviewed 1 July 2026 · 6 min read · By Sarah M., Support Coordinator
In short

myplace is the NDIS participant portal, accessed through myGov, where you can view your plan and budgets, track and approve claims, manage service bookings, and message your providers. It gives participants a single online place to see and manage the day-to-day details of their NDIS plan.

What myplace is

myplace is the secure online participant portal for the NDIS. It is the place where you, or a nominee acting for you, can see the details of your plan and keep track of how your funding is being used.

You reach myplace through myGov, the Australian Government’s central login service, by linking the NDIS as one of your myGov services. This means your myplace access sits behind the same secure sign-in you may already use for other government services.

What you can do in the portal

myplace brings the practical parts of managing a plan into one place, so you are not relying solely on phone calls or paperwork.

View your current plan and support budgets
Check how much funding remains in each category
View and approve payment requests (claims)
Create and manage service bookings with providers
Send and receive messages with your providers
Update some of your contact details

How to log in and use it

To use myplace, sign in to myGov and select the NDIS service. The first time, you will need to link the NDIS to your myGov account, which the NDIS can help you set up if needed.

If you have a nominee or a child representative arrangement, that person can be given access to act on your behalf in the portal. If you cannot log in, the NDIS contact centre can help with access and linking issues, so a sign-in problem does not leave you stuck.
