Overnight and 24-hour support at home is usually funded from your Core Supports budget under Assistance with Daily Life. A sleepover is claimed as one unit per night when the shift starts before midnight, finishes after midnight and runs for 8 hours or more, and the worker can sleep when not needed. It includes up to two hours of active support during the night; a third or later hour is claimed at the Saturday rate on weekdays, or the rate for the day on weekends and public holidays.
If you need help regularly through the night, an active (awake) night shift is charged per hour instead. We work with plan-managed and self-managed participants, and we do not guarantee funding outcomes. Read more in sleepover and night rates explained.
We charge at or under the NDIS price limit and show it on every invoice. See the price guide.
