Support worker hours are typically funded from your Core Supports budget under Assistance with Daily Life. The budget is flexible, so you decide which supports and how many hours suit your week. We support self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants, and we do not guarantee funding outcomes.
Workers hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check, complete the Worker Orientation Module and follow the NDIS Code of Conduct. We verify these before they start with you.
How does matching work? +
We learn your needs, goals and preferences, then introduce a worker whose skills and personality fit. You can request a different worker if it is not the right match.
Can I change my worker later? +
Yes. As a participant you can choose and change your worker, and we will help arrange a new match.
What qualifications do workers have? +
Workers bring relevant training and experience for the supports you need, with additional competency for higher-intensity tasks where required.
What can a support worker not do? +
Workers operate within their training and scope and the NDIS Code of Conduct; clinical or prescribing tasks remain with qualified health professionals.
